I had written all this stuff but just wasn't feeling it, so anyway ALOHA!
I hope everyone has something fun up their sleeve planned for the weekend. Rob comes home tomorrow for a 5 day weekend. We have lots of stuff on the agenda, but I'm hoping for some downtime too. Some of my favorite moments are the planned activities, but impromptu trips to the beach, or walk down the street to the park where we hunt for BBs! (The kind from the Airsoft guns.) It is our mission in life to collect ALL the BBs. It's like an Easter egg hunt every time we walk to the park.
I'm really hoping to be able to get some surfing in very very soon. I've been craving it. Physically craving a surf session. It's true. But our weekend (and Rob's days off) will be filled with the usual: beach, various toddler activities, NAPS (I'm willing it to happen), time with friends and family... and hopefully a surf for Mama.
Also, I would like to say that Christian had a pretty fantastic day yesterday. He got to spend the morning with Mimi at BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) where he's in a toddler/preschool type class with other 2-3 year olds. He will learn very basic Bible lessons. Mimi put him down for a nap (and he actually slept!) which meant a fantastic afternoon with Mama. Christian woke up from his nap to some presents from Nannie that had come in the mail. Let me just sum it up with Cars and Planes. Christian hasn't been able to put them down!
And how cool are these lip balms she found? They're all "beer flavors." Perfect, right?
Also, I just ordered this Halloween costume for Christian. When it comes to everyday life, creative I am not, but I don't think Christian minds. ;) He's just stoked to be Dusty!
Have a great weekend!!
